Small & Compact, Modular Design
The Legacy-E is developed around a full function Euro Card design, which allows use of GPS and/or GLONASS L1 and L1/L2.

Units can be configured with various different serial ports. Another unique advantage of the Legacy series is the software upgrade-ability, which allows the user to upgrade his receiver at basically any time, without having to send the unit back to the service shop. Just upload a new configuration file via the convenient PC CDU interface. Also processing and various internal memory options can be easily upgraded later without having to return the unit to the supplier.

LegAnt™ Antenna
The phase center of a GPS+ antenna is the basis for all solutions. It’s assumed the phase center is the same as the physicial center, but with other antenna’s, it can change as satellite positions change. Our zero centered antennas use four feed points to maintain accurate center alignment so you can maintain accurate solutions.

A Choice of Controllers
Topcon offers easy to use, high performance Win-CE software that allows for high levels of localization. The control software runs on the convenient Husky™ Fex21 or Ranger. Not only is Topcon’s controller software extremely easy to use, it can be used to run Topcon survey instruments like total stations as well, offering you seamless integration of your different equipment.

Radio and GSM
For optimum convenience in different types of applications, Topcon offers the use of both radio and GSM for base or reference station communication. GSM can be used on larger distances that may easily go up to 40 to 50 km, depending on the conditions and base used.

MINTER simplicity
The control buttons on a Legacy receiver provide the Minimum Interface; MINTER. Just two function keys and two 3 color LED’s are all that’s necessary to record data and check survey status. It doesn’t get easier then that!

Base Station set up
Antenna’s radio modems, GSM, power etc, it all fits in Topcon’s Base station & Rover carrying cases. For Field Base Station set up, specific cases are available that offer the ruggedness and convenience of external connections.

Beacon solutions
Topcon Legacy Receivers can be used in conjunction with various international & local beacon solutions. Please contact your local Topcon representative for details.

Hiper Series

There’s no reason to carry around a toolbox full of hardware and cables when you need to gather data. HiPer cleans up the hardware mess and makes data collection faster and easier.

Everything you need for static GPS surveying is fully integrated. Antenna, receiver and rechargeable batteries all neatly packaged inside the rugged, compact housing. But that’s only the beginning of the power of HiPer.

Activating optional features, like adding GPS L2 for high production rapid static operation, is easy with simple password commandsentered via a PC. Options can even be added on a pay-per-use basis only when you need it.

Operation is streamlined too. Two LED’s and function keys provide operation and data recording status. And it can store over 400 hours of L1 data! HiPer quickly converts to RTK operation by adding the optional base station kit and the internal radio card to the rover. The only cable on the rover is the one connecting the data collector.

All models of Hiper are available as versions with integrated radio or GSM modem. This reduces the number of external devices, batteries and cables needed to connect them. Everything you need for RTK surveying integrated in one compact unit and mounted on top of the rover pole. With the Hiper+, even the cable to the controller unit is eliminated, providing a true cable-less solution.

Big ambitions? But a small budget? Consisting of a Base and on-the-pole rover the new Topcon HiPer Green Label offers flexibility at an affordable price. The Green Label has evolved from the successful HiPer Pro system and uses proven GPS technology.

With its flexible, easy-to-use FC-200 with TopSURV software included, the HiPer Green Label is the ideal solution for a wide range of jobs. For the one-man-team, the HiPer Green Label is easy to setup and use. The HiPer Green Label comes standard with GPS only and an RTK distance range of 2.5km. The main difference from the HiPer Pro therefore is in the limitation imposed on the working RTK range. The HiPer Green Label offers ease of use and performance at a budget price.
